2º POISON

El segundo grupo del que me dispongo hablar es Poison un grupo de Hair Metal muy happy y con riffs electrizantes que harían bailar al mas estático

Rikki Rockett (batería) siendo el estilista de la hermana de Bret Michaels (vocal), lo conoce. Luego estaban buscando a alguien con apariencia y actitud, no necesariamente un bajista profesional, y encontraron a Bobby Dall (bajo) que era perfecto, y Bret le enseña a tocar. Matt Smith (guitarra) se les une, y ya eran un grupo: Paris, en ese entonces. Matt Smith se tuvo que retirar por que su novia estaba esperando su primer hijo, y antes se habían trasladado de Pensilvania a California. Y en su reemplazo llegó el conflictivo, pero admirado C.C. DeVille.
Talk dirty to me, I want action y I won't forget you fueron sus éxitos; y eso llevó a "vengarse" de quienes siempre se burlaron del grupo y no creían que podían llegar al éxito.

La banda siguió avanzando en éxito. Every rose has its thorn, Nothin' but a good time, el cover Your mama don't dance, Fallen angel.
La historia de la creación de Every rose has its thorn, fue cuando Bret Michaels un día llama a su novia y se entera (de mala manera) de su infidelidad... A diferencia de la actitud que tendríamos muchos; él escribió la balada, que terminó siendo un emblema del Rock.
